Picture day recap

so, you may have seen that picture day didn't go exactly as planned. the little one was hungry, i HAD actually thought ahead and brought some dry cereal, but didn't anticipate that he would REFUSE to give up the bag of snacks. So that brought on some tears.

Otherwise, I think we did get a few nice shots..and left a huge mess all over G-gallery. they will be fining cheerios, cookie crisp, and chex for days. Sorry ladies!

Then, he fell asleep in the car. Poor guy, he was so tired! He is just getting used to no morning naps. And we were trying to find something to eat, since he had just had some cereal for lunch so far. Matt had to get back to work, so I THOUGHT i would take him back to my office to feed him, but with all the falling asleep in the car, that didn't work out. THEN, we went to McDonalds and the line was forever long so i went ot Grandys and got a big family eal of nuggets for dinner for the boys while i had a meeting...of course the line was shorter, but the wait was longer!

Needless to say, he woke up as i was parking to take him back to daycare and ate some microwave ravioli (it ways organic, so it must be healthy, right)? and h layed down again for a long winter's nap in his crib (which was a miracle unto itself).



This weekend, is deep cleaning weekend for the HOrtons. Anyone who wants to come join is welcome. Matt did a wonderful job of cleaning while I worked at a conference this weekend, bu he also had a little one in tow for most of it, so I think we will have some not huge, not time consuming, but necessary projects. One of them will be our taxes....do, do, do (cue dreaded noise)...
